How often does your body overpower your mind? For most of us, the answer is very often. I've found that one way to reclaim personal power is through "Mind Over Body." This concept requires a lot of practice, much like taking your mind to the gym for a daily workout. By focusing on meditation and quieting the mind, you can uncover your deepest desires, often lying dormant, waiting to rise up. The more you delve within, the more you gain control over external influences.
You can overcome the body's limiting tendencies by slowing down and listening. Remember, your true self is the one who listens. Your authentic self is eager to emerge and thrive. You are the deep, genuine desire that can transcend physical limitations and rise above. I always remember, "Be Still and Know I Am God." This doesn't mean inactivity but shifting focus away from the world's perceived faults and your own to listen to the still, small voice within—the voice that loves you and wants the best for you.
The more you listen, the more aware you become. This awareness leads to positive actions, gradually forming new habits and a reconstructed personality. This new self will guide you towards the higher paths of life to self-actualization. You will be able to look over the horizon to the beautiful life you are creating for yourself, a life that brings joy and inspiration and one you can proudly share with the world as a beacon of hope.
